I can finally be happy when …

what are you waiting for?

 

How often have you found yourself putting off happiness until some thing or some change happened?

 

 

I’ll take that trip once I save a little more money.

After I lose these extra 15 pounds I’ll shop for clothes that I love.

I can’t even think about dating again until I feel better about myself.

But what’s the harm in starting now?

 

You’ve heard the phrase ‘fake it ’till you make it’, right?

That’s essentially what you should do – do the things that will make you happy now and watch your life transform before your eyes!

 

Take that trip! Those memories will give you more joy than anything you will buy with the extra money you save.

Buy that dress if it makes you feel beautiful! You are lovable just as you are!

Go out and date, be casual, and have fun. THAT is how you will come out of your slump.

Fake it 'till you make it! Do it now, don't wait!

 

A common toxic belief is that joy or pleasure will come later, once things change.

Toxic beliefs are just that – toxic.

They develop in our innocence. They are deeply rooted in our subconscious.

There is no fault in having toxic beliefs. Know that.

We inherit these beliefs from the world and the people around us. They come in the form of seemingly innocent blanket statements.

‘You can have dessert if you eat all of your veggies.’

‘If you behave yourself, I’ll take you out with me.’

This is how the seeds are planted.

They take root.

They grow into vicious weeds.

But it’s not your fault.

And it’s not the fault of those who planted the seeds. Toxicity is passed from one generation to the next.

But do know that toxic beliefs are capable of becoming nourishing beliefs.

It’s time to break the vicious cycle.
